Yesterday, M&S’s Shwopping campaign headed to SW19 to offer female fans a special Wimbledon-themed clothes makeover, encouraging ladies to ‘shwop’ offending items that wouldn’t meet the All England Club’s new strict dress code for members.

Having heard that Wimbledon had issued its first ever dress code warning for members amidst complaints of scruffy dressing, our ‘Shwop Squad’ team offered emergency changes of clothes to any ladies who had come slightly underdressed for ladies semi-final day.

Once the ‘Shwop Squad’ had entered the famous grounds, we found plenty of ladies on Henman Hill willing to shwop an item of clothing in exchange for the array of blouses, cardigans and dresses that we’d brought with us. Take a look at some snaps of the action below…
