Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Soozie Jenkinson at a special press preview
The collaboration between Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and M&S Lingerie began a year ago. While Rosie was visiting us in London she shared with me her passion for vintage clothing, her love of feminine lingerie and her aspiration to design a lingerie collection. As Rosie is the face of Autograph womenswear, it seemed like a natural progression of her relationship with M&S. It was also an exciting opportunity to develop an exclusive lingerie collection for our customers, bringing together our long heritage of lingerie know-how and technical expertise with Rosie’s feminine style.

Rosie and Soozie working on the collection in London
Beautiful lingerie is all about attention to detail, and what’s been fantastic about working with Rosie is that she and I share the same vision for the range. Rosie was passionate about making her collection accessible to women of all shapes and sizes, and as we at M&S already have bras in our ranges to fit 99% of the female population, Rosie’s vision was a great fit with the M&S Lingerie brand. Our launch collection is designed to include bra sizes from an A to a G cup, and a variety of flattering knicker shapes and sizes ranging from 8-20. Rosie has had input into every aspect of the collection and roses have been its over-riding inspiration, influencing everything from the rose gold-coloured componentry and logo to the intricate rose design of the lace. Even the choices of our colour palettes and prints are inspired by roses.

Since our first meeting, creative brainstorms have taken place in Boston, LA and London, and of course there have been lots of transatlantic email exchanges, enabling Rosie to have continual input as her range is developed by our expert teams, and letting us share our ideas. As lingerie is such a technically specialised and intricate product to develop, we are already sharing ideas, colours and concepts for next year’s collection!
We are both thrilled with the Rosie for Autograph lingerie collection and would love to know what you think. Here are some behind-the-scenes shots taken while we’ve been developing the range, and close-ups of the beautiful products.

This collection is the most stunning I have seen in years; I could buy every piece. I just hope it continues to be restocked and not disappear to soon. Beautiful work

What a beautiful collection of lingerie BUT do you make any knickers of the style I use – full pants in silky material in size 14. I have been buying these from you for years now and they cover that second ‘belly’.
