Summer holidays are on the horizon and, if you are jetting off to warmer climes this season, you might be looking for some swimwear inspiration. Even if you are staying at home this year, regardless of the weather, you might want to invest in some new swimwear to make you feel fabulous when visiting your local swimming pool, spa, or even beach (weather-permitting).

To give you some ideas, we’ve picked out several different shapes of flattering swimwear for summer 2012, along with some style tips from the M&S Magazine team on which one might suit your body shape best.

Supportive swimsuits

Look for our tummy-control technology and bodyshaper swimsuits which come in a variety of different styles and colours. We’ve designed these to smooth and sculpt your curves and offer a little extra help in giving you your best possible beach body.

Style tips…

“If in doubt, go for an all-in-one black swimsuit – perfect for shaving off inches.”

“If you’re an hourglass, a one-colour cossie looks sleek, while slim builds can opt for all-over prints to add curves.”

Strapless swimsuits

Strapless styles give maximum coverage without the tell-tale tan lines. Most of ours come with straps too for when you need a little extra support.

“Bold horizontal stripes across your chest make a flat bust appear bigger.”
