Maternity dresses for summer

I’ve been waiting for the sunshine for so long but now it has actually arrived I’ve quickly realised that the heat does not agree with me! Flip flops have now officially replaced the heels, especially given how much my feet swell up by the end of the day – something I had previously thought I’d manage to escape!

On the plus side though, it means I’ve been able to wear these lovely M&S dresses. This is our black maxi dress which looks great with some sparkly flips flops and (you’ve guessed it) a smart blazer for work. I also made it to Chester races a few weeks back, and even though the sun hadn’t quite made an appearance by then I still wore our gorgeous flowery tea dress which everyone complimented me on. It looked lovely with a little black cardigan and made me feel really glammed-up but still comfortable.
