I’ve been working at M&S as a product developer for over 13 years now. I’ve certainly notched up quite a few departments along the way, but my favourite would have to be Confectionery. When I joined the department nearly three years ago, friends kept telling me I had the perfect job – they said it must be like being Willy Wonka! I was slightly sceptical at first, as I didn’t think they were seeing the real picture, but after giving it some thought I realised that this really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and perhaps the closest I’ll ever get to following in his footsteps!
