Barbara Ross

At the age of seven I skipped into mum’s kitchen picked up a recipe book and basically have never looked back since. I trained as a Home Economist and have spent the last two decades in food, developing new recipes and products for food magazines, manufacturers or retailers.
I have been in Foods at M&S for the last five years as a Product Developer working on new and exciting ranges that will delight our customers. I’m currently the Product Developer for Italian meals, breads and The Cook Menu. Italian food is my passion. Last year I booked myself on to an amazing food writing course and this gave me the food writing bug. I’ll be blogging about our new product launches, foodie news, reviews & inspiration. I grew up in Durham and am now in London living the magic and sparkle of a foodie life!
